I was very happy with the end result. I placed a new dual inlet/outlet Magnaflow where the resonator was and then ran straight pipe to the rear. I installed new tips with built-in resonators. If anyone wants to do this, the parts are as follows:

I like the sound better than anything I've heard. Plus, I was able to recoup most of my investment because a guy in Norway bought the old 4.6is mufflers. End result - we are both happy.
