Unless you put in 55w HID 6000k's, they aren't brighter than the OEM 4300K's. If you're using the same projectors and just changing the bulb, why would you get more glare? I'm just asking because I'm pretty passionate about HID lighting and thought that maybe you could teach me something here.
The 4300k's have the most lumen output of all of the spectrum colors. I think that's why the OEM's use them (and they probably get a good deal on them

).
They might look brighter to cars also because the truck sits a bit higher and the lights are right in the line of sight, instead of illuminating the bumper, like a car light would. I've noticed this while driving our car and having a pickup or SUV behind us. Just a thought!
