If thats the case then how can you switch between the CD and the iPod if the iPod is connected where the CD Changer goes. Something is not right. Please provide a complete description of your vehicle. Year, weather you have Navigation system, a cd changer ect ect.

My X5 is a 2005 model 3.0d with no satnav just a single CD with the stacker input option. The iPod connects into the stacker input via a BMW/iPod connection and everything works fine as per instuctions from BMW handbook except for the low gain level I seem to have. I shall investergate the Icelink alternative but since I've already paid for BMW connection I'm push'n it as far as I can. There are a lot of BMW dealers in Melbourne and a lot of iPods, so if this is a common problem someone will have a fix for it. Thanks for all your feed back.
