I assume that you took off the cover and removed the screw holding the eject motor down. Then moved the motor to the side and turned the white gear to eject the disk. Correct? When you replaced the eject motor and screw did you make sure the motor gear reengaged the white gear like before? Does the unit power up? With the unit powered and the cover off you should see the mechanism respond when you start to put a disk in. If not, the disk drive is dead or at least not getting power from the main board. I doubt your local audio store would be familiar with this unit but maybe. Could buy another MKII, probably half the price of a MKIII.
