My mother-in-law passed away on Saturday, and the calling hours and the funeral are on Tuesday and Wednesday. I traveled down to Ohio today to be with the family. I was blessed that I did not have the stereotypical "mother-in-law" situation and was very close with her and the rest of my wife's family.

My wife, being the only daughter and the youngest in a family of 5 kids, was very close to her mom, so she is taking this very hard. Sue had been battling lung cancer for the past year, though, so at least there was time to prepare as best you can for this day.

Godspeed, Sue Echols, you will be forever in our thoughts and in our hearts!!
