All the manufacturers you mentioned, Stiga, Kettler, Butterfly, SportCraft all make high end tables in the $400 to $500 range. I have a Butterfly table that retails for $600, picked it up on Craigslist for $200, almost never used.

Ping Pong tables are one of those things that people buy with the intention of playing alot, but it doesn't happen unless they are pretty serious about it. So it just sits. I see many good prices for them used. I rented a U-haul truck, cost me about $40 to get it back home.
