At least there is oil dipstick on this model for owner to quick check, on all newer BMW if this happens you better not just top it off. It happened on someone E90(faulty oil level gauge), initially the Servive adisor just keep topping it off, not sure the guy blew crankcase seal or not for having too much oil. Dealer tech find out the problem after draining the oil to be sure. Can't understnad BMW going with these no oil dipstick, run flat w/o spare etc...
