Hilarious. I make a point of poking the dashboard when I'm driving my wife's M Roadster, saying "jeez, there's something wrong with your stupid car - it won't start!!!"
I think the next time I do it, it might mean bread and water for Mr. Happy for a week.... maybe more.........
