I also just ordered an X5 4.8. I think I may have found the solution to this waiting anxiety.....

Buy other toys that are immediately available I just bought a new Motorola Droid phone, and it has helped me get through the last 2 days without thinking much about the X5 delivery date!

Also, I didn't really expect this waiting period to be so bad, but I find myself checking the production status a few times per day, and then looking through the forums, finding pictures, finding videos on youtube, etc..
