I am scared sh8tless of having to take my new x5 35D to dealers for scheduled maintenance or other work. Some of the things I have read on this forum plus reviews posted on Yelp and Google on ALL my local dealers are just frightening. Why on earth are these reviews so bad? The standard answer I get is that only irate customers give feedback but I don't agree with that.

The dealer I bought my car from is great. My CA has been great. I gave him a great review on Yelp! But the service department's reviews are just horrendous. Any tips on what to look for and what to avoid? There are very few X5 Diesels in my area and I don't want mine to be used as a training tool!
