Can you play video via the new iDrive and Screen on the 2010 model?

01. For example, can I load video files (in any format) on to the new hard disc for playing?

02. Can I play video files (in any format) via the CD/DVD drive even without TV function?

If so to either of above, what file formats have worked...?
