I filled up for the 3rd time this morning. Mobil station in Boston suburb. $2.99 per gallon. I grabbed a nitrile glove from the garage on my way out the door, and although the pump handle was on the cleaner side, I had no problem with any diesel smell on my hand after discarding the glove.

I posted earlier that I was contemplating the use of a pair of leather gloves stored in the rear, yet these will retain small amounts of diesel, and the cabin will smell pretty bad. The nitrile gloves are easy, come in a plastic pop out container (like cleaning wipes) and can be purchased at any auto parts store.

It was 30 degrees this AM, and the wind across the hand was a bit chilly, so it will be fun in a month or so when the temp dips a bit more. I put in 25.74 gallons, and the average fuel economy is at 25.8 MPG. First 958 miles from Spartenburg was at 27.6, and the last tank was more intercity driving in Boston.
