I have an 06 X5 with a 3.0l and the wife tells me it has developed a whine at 65+MPH. She says it sounds like it is coming from the heater vents. It doesn't seem to matter what position the heater is in, full or partial air or heat. Anyone have any ideas before it goes to the dealer? And just so I don't get any speculation, she is not a whiner.
