yes. It is actually a really flimsy piece. The front ones are the same. If you bump it at the right angle, it actually drops inside the bumper. If it was a direct bump and no rub, you might not see scratch marks but something obviously happened.

I had the front one replaced, it was $15 for parts and about $80 total with labor. They had to remove my fender to get inside the bumper to remove the old one which fell in and charge half hour labor.
