Assuming this is not just a homer post, how do you actually see Deutschland getting there...

If they make it out of the first round (no reason why they shouldn't IMHO) then they would most likely play the USA or at worst case scenario, England. If it's the USA they should easily advance but if they're faced with England, it could be tough. The English have something to prove and I have a feeling that 2010 may be it. If they advance to the round of 16, they would most likely face Argentina or Nigeria, (both doable opponents IMHO), but then it gets tough because they would probably have to play Spain or the defending world champs Italy. Spain is considered one of the top contenders to win the WC and the Italians (although an older squad), are always tough. In summary, I don't see them getting past the Semi's.....
