As I said, I have a 1080i projector hitting the wall at 102" with all the goodies hooked to it, and the tv will be primarily for standard definition 480i/p signal. I may hook the iMac and PS3 up to the TV as well, but they are already hooked to the projector and surround sound. I guess for bang for the buck and practicality the 50" panasonic for under $700 is the best deal, and that is something the local best buy will have and do price matching on... Just out of curiosity, what are the reliability issues with the samsungs? I always thought they were some of the better units?
