What I didn't see in the Plasma Vs LCD article is the heat generated by the plasma as well as the power consumption. These are real issues such that I read that CA is banning them. (But they're banning every thing else so what does it mean?)

We've got 2 flat screens, and a big DLP, a Samsung 65" LED , a Sharp 37" and Phillips 42". All are 120Hz, 1080p and I'm very pleased with them.

When I was shopping hard for the big one, I looked at everything and came really close to a Panasonic plasma. The money was stupid and I just couldn't justify it. The 65" LED DLP is phenomenal for the money. Bought it from Amazon. When I was doing research on it I never read anything about Samsungs being unreliable.

The Sharp and Phillips came from Costco and you can't beat their satisfaction warrantee.
