It's hard to find the perfect answer since there is not enough emperical data, so the safest answer would be just get a new set.

I think initially, I am in the same boat as lot of people here, why trash a good set of rotors (I had the car since brand new and gentle on the brakes anyway).
But I also hate to find out later if I end up with shimmy, vibration, squeak, fade etc partway into the pads life etc.
