I too replace the rotors on every brake job due to the reasons given above...

However, with that being said, and from the description you have given so far, it is not 100% guaranteed that your shake will be solved by replacing the rotors... A lot of us have replaced pads and rotors just to find out that the shakes continue and are due to some other part needing replacement.

For what it is worth, I am still searching for that part that needs replacement in my X5... :-)
