'04 4.4, 69,000 miles
At the dealer with several issues-
1- Squeeling noise in the steering when turning the wheel to the right. Found to be a bad contact ring in the steering column.... not covered

2- Front end clunk- right control arm.... not covered

3- The dreaded trans bang when not comimg to a complete stop- needs latest software update.... not covered

4- Rear end clunk- subframe bushings..... not covered

5- Torn CV boot- replaced the full joint under warranty (thanks killcrap!)

$1500 worth of repairs not covered by CPO. Every one of these would be covered by the Audi CPO, and all the suspension parts are identified as covered on our Explorer Ford Premium Care 6/100 CPO warranty. And it's not like these things aren't common on the E53 either.

Sorry for the rant but it seems like every time I go to the dealer it costs me $1000 for something not covered by CPO.
