Thanks all for your input. The $1k difference I meant was $1k more than the offered price ($6k diff on MSRP). I am not concerned over $1k, just looking for insights on what might be a better purchase.

Ultimately I leave it up to my wife what she'd prefer to drive, but I want to be able to guide her in the right direction. Right now, it's leaning more towards an E90 325XI.
