I drove the X5 for about 60miles with the wife in the passenger seat and no noise. So it was off to the dealer to find the cause of the noise and to repair a broken headrest. The dealer could not duplicate the noise, they did however replace the headrest for free. The wife swears there is a noise and I tend to believe her although I have not heard it yet. When I do, I'll post here for some more input.
