Bright white would be around 5000k, 6000k is a slightly blue color, anything after that becomes an ugly blue/purple color.

If Tom can match the price, then by all means go for it. $60 shipped - bulbs, ballasts, resistors. Obviously there will be some shipping pricing differences, so I'd call HIDextra before you make a decision. If he wont match HID's price down to the penny, than why pay more? Those of you who wanna throw the "cheap chinese" flag can just stop now...all these aftermarket HID kits are basically Made in China anyways, right next to the assembly line of iPods and iPhones.

FWIW, the bulbs are either H1 or H3's, so you'll have to check your before you order. Since you're gonna need to order HID headlight bulbs as well, see if Tom is willing to do an all or nothing HID setup....headlights and foglights.

Anxious if fine, just don't rush and purchase the wrong stuff.
