I meant UK built cars generally speaking , yes some decent cars were built in Scotland , and the Leyland trucks and buses were good machines , still make excellent buses and built Volvo FL trucks until recently.

I still say and have heard other X5 drivers say it drives like a van
try a Ford Transit or Mercedes Sprinter and feel the similarity . probably due to the weight and centre of gravity .
yep , the X5 can go fast and handles well though .
Thunder , hire yourself a Jaguar XF and drive around Scotland , you will love it , some amazing roads and XF is an excellent car .
