Just got in to work myself... the roads I took (Rt. 1/9, NJ turnpike, I-78, etc.) were pretty nasty. There were several vehicles stuck on the side in drifts, pressed up against guard rails, and such. There were areas on 78 where the snow wasn't plowed at all - just deep ruts from vehicles driving through; at a few points I passed 18-wheelers helplessly stuck, spinning their wheels trying to claw up mild hills. Everyone was going REALLY slow, so it took forever to get here, but it was a blast! The X was really solid and confident - especially considering I was on the stock 18" Michelin all-seasons

They don't do the X any favors - particularly when braking

- but overall I had no problems at all. I was just patiently picking my way through the crawling traffic, occasionally sneaking over into the unplowed far-right lane to get by someone really pathetic, and I was smiling all the way!!
But I do think I will get right to ordering some real snow tires. I'm trying to decide between the Pirellis (Scorpian Snow/Ice) and the Nokians... I've heard several positive things about both, but has anyone driven both and have an opinion about which is better all around?
