Am I nuts? Is this possible?
Wiring pinouts, pictures, etc would be greatly appreciated. Depending on the information I receive, I plan to complete the install over the New Years break and will be sure to include lots of pictures.
Thanks

i've done this to my e70 its a very simple install (may be cause i'm an installation engineer

) you need the following. my car is a right hand drive.
amp wiring kit which includes battery wire with fuse holder, remote wire, earth wire, phono leads and sub woofer speaker cable.
high to low level converter.
for power pick up remove battery cover in boot to reveal battery i took my 12v and earth direct from battery but make sure your 12v is fused. for the remote turn on for the amp i took that from the 12v out put socket which is in the boot on the right.
for the high level input i picked the input wires from under the drivers seat from the stock subwoofer wires. i didnt need to remove the seat all i did was move it all the way forward and then pulled out the air vent under the seat and then i pulled forward the original wires from the subwoofer and connected my high to low level converter and hid the converter in the same position, there's plenty of room. then run your phono leads under the driver seat rails were there is a split in the carpet and straight to the back.
i only connected the one input on my high level converter as getting to the passenger side sub woofer under the seat requires un bolting the seat. with one input my bass is more than heavy, it make a big difference adding a after market sub and amp.
Ive located my amp in the rear left passenger side were the original amp should have been its a 500w with a 1000w sub. you don't need a crazy install to get it sounding good.
hope this helps
