thanks for the input. I have asked my German indi tech if it is possible to swap my automatic in my 2000 4.4. he said the only way to do the v8 is to canablize an old 540. in the end, he said its better to just sell and buy an oem manual, mainly because of the computer. Thus my question for the folks on this forum.
Any high milage issues with the 3.0? i.e. 100k and up?
