I followed CMYX6GO's advice and bought my new service advisor some munchkins to sweeten him up... funny thing is he told me he LOVES munchkins as I handed it to him so... his name is Peter (you can find him if you schedule service online: Long Island BMW: Used Cars, New Car Dealer; Hassel BMW, New York; Auto Sales, Service, Long Island, New York City ). Along with the annual maintenance, I too brought it in for the steering wheel plastic peeling... the transmission jerk should be better after an idrive update for you.

Wow, I almost made trip to Hassel today. But moved to tommorow. I had to speak service manager because of the appointment issue. Anyway, I am going in tommorow. I also bought the car from Hassel, and Hassel seems more professional in their work compare to smithtown, but my advisor just seems not friendly as smithtown bmw advisor. It could be his personality. I am not saying he is rude. If I don't get good service this time, I think I might change the advisor to peter.
P.S. Do you also wait long time for appointment with loaner? Average wait time for loaner with mercedes is abouut a week and Hassel seems more than 3 weeks.
