Pretty cool, but isn't the new 1-series just around the corner? Why not wait for the new platform and use some high-power turbo 4-cylinder and make the car much more lightweight?

Also, I hope that 0-60 estimate of 5.5 seconds is an error. A 135i does it in 5.1 according to BMW USA.
