Just bought a new set of Nokian wr g2 suv tires for my X and I must say that these are the best tires I've had on this vehicle so far. I was considering going to a seasonal set up with snows in the winter (I'm sure it goes without saying that these suk in the snow with regular all seasons or sport tires) but I decided to go with the nokian's based on a recomendation from a friend who lives in Siberia. These tires are absolutely amazing in the snow cutting my stopping distance by two-thirds over the Conti X Contact's I had replaced and way better than the stock Michelin's. No word on the wear yet, but the ride is great despite a slight increase in road noise. The great part is that they are enviornmentally friendly and have a very low rolling resistance. I've seen a .6 gal/mi increase in economy with no change in driving style. Here's the best part.....$185/tire mounted, balanced and installed...255/55/18...Hope they work out well in the summer, but so far dry pavement traction has been superb and the stiffer sidewall on the v rated tire has greatly improved cornering....
