Finally, back on the Net!
Got the usual Comcast crap armwrestle deal hooked up today. We got here safely...cats, two cars stuffed full of junque, etc., last Saturday. It has been one "move-in" laugh/nightmare, after another. Very few things have gone "right" and our luck has eroded, but we are getting by. Don't wanna sound like we are living in a tent and panhandling, but it has been a test of patience and compromise. At least theCEO hasn't killed me, yet.
We are living out of boxes and personally trying to keep the economy invigorated by our obscene, (by my standard), daily shopping and spending habits. We have had some very funny experiences and one cannot make most of this stuff up, but we have managed to keep our sense of humor.
Duplicating all the junk and stuff for a 2nd house is an expensive proposition.
The weather, however, is superb. I keep reminding myself why we did this when I see the weather channel and the "Mtn"/East Coast forecasts.
I will get caught up with ya'll in a few. Good to be here, glad to be "back" and hope ya'll doing fine.
