Dumb question that I'm sure I'll get flamed for, but what is the difference between BMW E53 X5 M62 4.4L > Search > Spacer > ES#172 DR Series Wheel Spacer - 5mm (1 Pair) - 1075725 @ $38 vs PAIR 8mm 5-LUG WHEELS SPACERS BMW X3 X5 X6 M3 M5 Z4 Z8:eBay Motors (item 370307817426 end time Jan-19-10 12:01:00 PST) @ $20. Neither is hub centric and neither has a lip to make them perfectly centered, so how do we keep them from being off center and causing vibration?

Here's a set of 20mm for only $80 Billet Wheel Spacer kit 20 mm BMW 5 Series X3 X5 New:eBay Motors (item 170371515294 end time Jan-09-10 09:30:44 PST)

I know everyone likes to throw the Made in China card, but do we truely know Ichiban and H&R aren't outsourcing just like everyone else is, or has anyone actually used this exact brand seller and can say for sure that they're no good? I just don't understand how these things can really go bad since they're sandwiched between two other pieces of metal.
I am sort of confused on thw ECS ones as well. It says may have trouble being hub centric, but then states that they are hub centric further in the description.

Some of the thicker Turner Motorsports spacers come with hub extenders. However, I didn't see any that fit the e53.

Turner Motorsport - Item# TWH9905001 - TMS Front Hub Extenders (Pair) - E24 E28 E34 E36 E46 Z3 Z4
