The tcu wakes up the car periodicly sometimes every 15mins. Over several days of inactivity it will wake up every hour. This for remote unlock feature for BMW assist. I use the wake up signal to power on the rain sensor, body module and sunroof module. I've recoded the sunroof module using BMW engineering programs to enable rain closing sunroof from vent and open position. You will also need to send the correct stalk signal to active the rain sensor. This signal is sent to the bodymodule from an ibus interface.
