BMW should cover parts for your repair, and you should only have to pay for labor charges. Of course, you will need to work with your service manager to obtain BMW's assistance, or call BMW directly. For labor only, I paid about US$1200 for the same work. Your country's taxes and labor rates must push the amount much higher.
