It is tempting -- but they have to be a very good shop to match that silver properly. They will need to put a flex agent in the paint which makes matching the paint even more of an art. It's possible to do it and have it look good, but like I said, it has to be a good shop so don't go looking for the best bargain.
If you leave the black trim -- then you have a break point between the aero kit and the factory paint so if the color is slightly off, you wont really notice.
I have an aero kit on the way. I really want a tow hitch and the accessory catalog says that the rear aero kit is not compatible with the tow hitch. I'm going to try it anyway. I figure if they have to cut the factory bumper... what's the big deal with cutting the rear aero kit too? With the right pinch molding it can still look like a nice clean job. I just dont know if there are any fasteners right there where the tow hitch is that would make the kit sag or something. TBD.
