MKIII to MK4

Hi All,

I've dredged all the forums and picked up most of the info I need but still have a couple of Q's...

Basically, I recently sold my E46 M3 which had the Mk4 sat nav/tv etc and bought a 2003 Range Rover Vogue which of course has the almost identical sat nav & tv screen in the dash but alas with the MKIII unit in the boot.

From what I've read it's fairly easy to swap out the MKIII unit for an MK4 DVD (and yes I did keep my 2009 map dvd from the E46 M3 :-))

Are there any pointers as to where to get the Mk4 unit? I've seen 2 on ebay but they have different part numbers:

6590 6 951 629-01
Or
6590 6 942 908-03

What's the difference between these 2? Both look to be the rack boot mounted DVD Nav units.

I've already downloaded and burnt the V31 software to disc (with the range rover logo!) ready for when I get one.

Just wanted to check what's the right way to go and any pitfalls I should look out for? NB - I kept my IBUS interface from my BMW and still have Navcoder so am familiar with using both if necessary.

What functions from Navcoder would I be able to use? Will I be able to disable the TV in motion piece like I was able to on my E46 M3?

Thanks in advance,

Cheers

Darren
