Both parts are essentially the same. BMW updated the part numbers every time that a new OS version came shipped from the factory. So far, we have not identified any hardware or application differences between the various MKIV part numbers.

As far as NavCoder coding of the MKIV in a RR, I have no clue. That would be new territory for me.
