i'll never forget george carlin talking about pryor in his act:

"so I guess you heard that richard pryor had a heart attack a few years ago.... he was ok but you know how competetive we are so i had one too."

"so then, a few years after that he had another one, and as you can guess, I had one too.... then the fucker, just to one up me, lit himself on fire and I said fuck that and just had another heart attack!"
