And you can get the code read by almost any AutoZone for free
Once you have the code you have more info than your dealer. And information is power when it comes to dealing with the BOZO SAs at some BMW dealerships. Just write the code down and post it here. You are far more likely to get a rational answer than at the dealer that told you "Don't worry. Be happy."
