There are opinions ALL over the web, so it all needs to be taken w/ a grain of salt Between owning both E34 and E39 M5's, one having written instructions while the other has a progressive tach, I absolutely believe that engines need to be warmed up before driving past say 3-4k rpms on a cold engine. If engines didn't need to be warmed up, why do we use mutli-weight oils if, in you opinion, it's all the same regardsless of the engine temp? Sorry, but I'm not a buyer.
