Had my X5 not started, I too would have been very upset.
But, so far so good. Again, I think there can be at least 1-dozen reasons people are having issues with their X5 discharging.
But, I wanted to point out that it's not a unanimous, across-the-board, issue. At least, not thus far.

wasn't taking a shot at you Bro. more the FatherLand. my 4.8 sits outside for two sometimes three days without moving. 2 years now no issues.
but i did have the TCU replaced in August and all the Bugs seem to have moved on. even Elvis hasn't weighed in on my Sat Radio lately.
