Yes Craig, I remember you mentioning that, which is why I started this thread. It appears to be unnecessary to keep your X5 on a trickle charger, if your vehicle is functioning properly which is why I posted this thread.
Maybe print out this post and give it to your dealer. A battery tender should not be required. If you're having issues with your battery discharging, something is not right, especially in light of the numerous responses by others who are having no such problem.
