M6's are very expensive to maintain/restore. It is hard to find one in very clean condition. SI boards in clusters fail. Dual a/c is spendy and not fun to work on and when functioning properly, they dont cool very well due to the use of a small evaporator. The best mod for an 88 M6 can be found at your local hardware store...it called a For Sale sign. I wouldnt buy it LVR...its nothing but a money pit. I have had a few people that I have tried to talk out of purchasing an M6 and didnt take my advice. They bought it and now contribute a lot of money to my childrens college fund. If you must have it, then I would at least have it checked out before purchasing and also find a mechanic/tech with experience/knowlege of the M6. Just my .02 and then some. Good luck on whatever you decide
