Is there any other possibility besides a dead ULF module? If so, is there anything else I can try, short of purchasing a new module from the dealership?

Hi There,
I am in the same boat as you. Having the same exact issues. Furthermore, none of the lights come on next to the NAV screen. The phone option is also gone from the NAV screen. One thing i have also noticed is that it seems the Bluetooth is always on even when the car has been powered off. At first I thought it was my phone acting up, but I used my wife's blackberry and searched for bluetooth devices. Sure enough, if found the X5, even though the car had been turned off for hours.
I hope someone can provide a way to manually reset the ULF box. I have an 2006 3.0 X5.
