same problem here, I am using now a nokia 6131 and after pairing the phone loaded 166 sms in the car (there are over 600 in the inbox so I presume that 166 is the max number the car can handle).

the phone keeps disconnecting and connecting again - any ideas how to fix this?

I will not delete sms from the phone...
