I just had a hernia - a left inaugural. I was getting this buldge in my groin area that would have to be pushed back in every once in a while. The more activity I did, the more coughing or sneezing, the more it would come out - then I would have to push it back in. It was painful, sometimes, but mostly very uncomfortable. When the doctors checked it, they did "turn your head and cough".... they knew immediately.

I wound up having surgery back in August. I was going to wait until I had another surgery taken care of (sogmoid colectomy), but it got so bad that I had to take care of that first....

I learned there are many types of hernias, but for the one I had - you would know immediately - there is no way for a buldge to occur without it being a hernia...

Good luck - but see a doctor...
