OK well I have some news. Spoke to dealership today. What they replaced on Friday was the crank sensor. As it turned out, still same problem. He told me today that BMW have suggested that he changes all wiring. Now he wasn't specific but my guess is from Engine Management Unit to crank sensor. If that fails he told me they are going to replace the whole Engine Management Unit. Funnily enough he also mentioned that their technician can create the problem whenever he wants which is very interesting.

Oh and for the record, mine started the same way. A little here and there and then 40 times on a 7km trip which of course is unbearable..
