It was mildly interesting seeing the landscape change as I drove south from Central VA to the Durham area. It went from winter wonderland landscape at first, then somewhere around Farmville I was able to see peeks of grass. By the time I cross the border there wasn't any snow left on the side of the roads and when I got onto the interstate, there was almost no snow left at all.
Of course as luck has it, the RDU area is now under a Winter Advisory, so it looks like I bring snow wherever I go.

. At least NC DOT was able to pretreat the roads, so main roads are only wet despite hours of snowfall.
