Most of those idiot TSA screeners are unfit beneficiaries of massive hiring in desperate times without much regard for qualifications. By the looks and demeanor of many of them, I would guess criminal background checks were not done or overlooked. There are certainly some good ones with common sense but more often than not, the TSA screeners are people I wouldn't even entrust to valet my car much less ensure our safety against terrorists. They are often rude, ignorant, and lack any common sense as evidenced in the story. Good luck to us all!
