That's what I was originally told by Tirerack when I called to purchase their TPMS for the '10. Apparently they were wrong because others have successfully used '09 sensors on their '10. I believe TPMS sensors are new for some of the BMW lineup in '10 but not all (but don't quote me on that). I bought them in November and perhaps was a guinea pig for Tirerack....not sure . I should have asked the dealer at the time if the part numbers for the '10 were the same as previous model years , but I didn't and accepted Tirerack's advice on blind faith since they had always been right in the past. Oh well, it was only an extra $100 and they have saved me waaaaay more than that over the years in lower-priced tires.
